A ceramic monster appears in the courtyard of the Hôtel de Sens. The sculpture, made from metal fished from the bottom of the Seine by Raf de Seine a boy of 12 whose mission is to clean the river, structured by a ceramic spine, echoes the gargoyles of the building and the creatures that inhabit the Garden of Delights by Jérôme Bosch. Juliette Somnolet questions our consumption, our relationship to time and the demons created by man.
Un monstre en céramique s’installe dans la cour de l’hôtel de Sens. La sculpture, réalisée à partir d’objets puisés au fond de la Seine grace a Raf de Seine un garçon de qui s’est donné la mission d’assainir le fleuve, structurés par une colonne vertébrale en céramique, fait écho aux gargouilles du bâtiment et aux créatures peuplant le Jardin des délices de Jérôme Bosch. Juliette Somnolet questionne notre consommation, notre rapport au temps et les démons créés par l’homme.
